Postponement of the “4th IZA/HSE University Workshop: Thirty Years after the Fall of the Iron Curtain: The Contribution of Labor Market Adjustment to Transition and Convergence” to October 2021 |
IZA workshops are particularly fruitful because of the close interaction of participants: Young and more experienced researchers exchange ideas and get to know each other’s work when being together for two long days. The COVID-19 crisis makes such exciting close contacts impossible because of health concerns and international travel restrictions.
We are confident that by the fall of 2021 the difficulties in connection with the COVID-19 virus will be resolved. We, therefore, announce that the workshop will be postponed to October 2021.
The exact dates of the workshop and of the submission deadline will be communicated at a later date. Two sessions of the workshop will be dedicated to the impact of the corona virus on the labor market in post-transition and emerging economies. |
