About the Workshop

While work continues to provide the basis for our material and social well-being, it is undergoing continuous transformation. Digitalization, globalization, and demographic change are affecting working conditions, forms of employment, employment opportunities, and occupational skill profiles. This workshop focusses on identifying the driving forces behind those changes and options for shaping labor market policies and firm strategies as a response to the changing world of work.

Paper Submission

Researchers interested in participating should submit a full paper or extended abstract by September 1, 2019 using the Online Application Form. Notifications will be send until October 1, 2019.

Travel and Accommodation

Those authors who are invited are expected to participate in the entire 2 day workshop. Economy class airfares and 3 nights of lodging for presenting authors and discussants will be covered according to the IZA Reimbursement Guidelines.
Kindly note that tax regulations prohibit IZA from fully reimbursing the travel expenses of conference participants who combine their trip with other destinations or extend their stay beyond the four-day window surrounding the event.
