About the Workshop

We are very pleased to announce the 4th Annual Workshop on Gender and Family Economics. The focus in 2020 will be on gender economics. The workshop will create a stimulating environment that will enable participants to engage in discussion of and receive valuable feedback on pressing issues in gender-related research and policy.

Keynote lectures will be delivered by Professor Manisha Shah (University of California, Los Angeles, and IZA) and Professor Andrea Ichino (European University Institute and IZA).

We invite contributions from both senior and junior researchers. Although submissions in all areas of gender economics are welcome, there is a particular interest in papers that focus on:

    • Gender and economic outcomes
    • Gender and identity
    • Gender and decision making
    • Gender inequality in labor markets
    • Gender and health
    • Gender and technological progress
    • Women's economic, social, and political empowerment

Submissions

Researchers interested in participating should submit an extended abstract or a full paper by October 31, 2019 using the online application form.
