About the Workshop

We are pleased to invite submissions for the next IZA Workshop on Labor Market Institutions. The aim of the meeting is to bring together senior and junior researchers to discuss their most recent research related to labor market institutions.

Relevant topics include (but are not limited to):
  • Unemployment insurance
  • Employment protection
  • Active labor market policies
  • Short-time work schemes
  • Collective bargaining
  • Payroll taxes

We encourage submissions of theoretical and empirical papers which provide credible evidence.
 

Paper Submission

Researchers interested in participating should submit preferably a full paper or an extended abstract by April 25, 2021 using the Online Application Form.

Presenters can make their papers available in advance by placing them on the IZA conference website so they can be linked to the preliminary program.

Notification of acceptance will be provided by May 16, 2021.
