About the Workshop |
In Spring 2020, the spread of COVID-19 sparked an unprecedented public health crisis. More than one year into the pandemic, education systems, parents and students worldwide struggle to adapt to the new normal. |

Against this background, IZA and the University of Zurich Jacobs Center for Child and Youth Development organize the 2nd joint workshop on the consequences of COVID-19 for Child and Youth Development. The online workshop brings together researchers for a two-day workshop on September 1st and 2nd, 2021 to discuss topics including: |

- impacts in higher education
- digitization of learning environments
- inequality in educational outcomes
- the development of children’s cognitive and socio-emotional skills
- parenting behavior
- crime, violence and delinquency

Submission |
Please submit full papers or extended abstracts by July 21, 2021, using our online application form. Notifications on contributed papers will be sent by August 1, 2021. |
