Organizers: Amelie Constant (Deputy Program Director for Migration, IZA)
Michael E. Fix (Director of the Immigration Studies Program, Urban Institute)
Place: Urban Institute, Washington, D.C.
Date: May 21, 2004

About the Workshop:

The idea of this workshop is to bring together researchers from IZA and the Urban Institute, as well as from DIW Berlin, and learn more about each other's research.
Under the broad rubric of immigration, an array of eclectic papers will cover topics such as economic performance, naturalization and citizenship, educating immigrant youth, self-selection, brain drain, and trends in highly skilled migrants. The sessions are scheduled in a way to complement migration research in Germany and the US.
