Zimmermann Florian Zimmermann is employed at briq and the University of Bonn as an Assistant Professor. After finishing his PhD in 2013 at the Bonn Graduate School of Economics (University of Bonn), he worked at the University of Zurich until 2017. He studied economics at the University of Mannheim and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He was a visiting researcher at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and Harvard University. His main research interests are behavioral and experimental economics, as well as labor economics and public economics.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in February 2012.
