About the Workshop |
The aim of the workshop is to bring together about 25 researchers working on the economics of education discussing themes of |

- Determinants of skill formation
- Changing returns to education
- Technological change, digitization and education
- Inputs into educational production
- Efficiency of interventions
- Unintended policy consequences
|
|
We specifically encourage but do not exclusively focus on submissions that highlight the interplay between education system and labor market against the background of a changing world of work. |

|
Submissions |
Researchers interested in participating should submit a full paper by May 31, 2019 using our online application form. Notifications will be send until June 30, 2019. |
|
|
Travel and Accommodation |
Those authors who are invited to present their papers are expected to participate in the entire three day workshop. Economy class airfares and up to 3 nights of lodging for presenting authors and discussants will be covered according to the IZA reimbursement guidelines. |
|
Kindly note that tax regulations prohibit IZA from fully reimbursing the travel expenses of participants who combine their trip with other destinations or extend their stay beyond the four-day window surrounding the event. |
