20th IZA/SOLE Transatlantic Meeting of Labor Economists (TAM)
|
|
IZA “is an exciting place which renews itself. The workshop system encourages close reading and frank discussions of papers and ideas”,
(quoting professor James J. Heckman), so we have organized IZA/SOLE's TAM 2021 online.
TAM started in 2002 as a joint project between SOLE and IZA. This year we celebrate TAM's twentieth anniversary.
To celebrate this event, Kevin Lang, President of SOLE, will give an opening statement.
One of the founding fathers of TAM, Daniel S. Hamermesh, will take us on a short trip down memory lane.
Two presenters from the first IZA/SOLE TAM in 2001, Petra E. Todd and Coen Teulings, accepted our invitation to present new work.
All this would have been wonderful to share at the Ammersee. Alas, this year we will be restricted to the online meeting, just like last year.
